The featured speaker at the 2010 Home & Garden Show will be award-winning New York City television personality Cathy Hobbs. She offers years of design experience and a polisheddelivery within her seminars.Topics will include staging a home to sell, “greening” a home and entertaining and style ideas under$10.

Hobbs is the founder of the interior design firm aphereä based in Brooklyn and the co-host and executive producer of Metro Residential, a weekly television real estate series that airs nationally. Her vision is to make interior design approachable and affordable to those seeking a professional designer. Hobbs’ passion for interior design began at an early age while growing up in Columbia, M.D., and Bloomfield Hills, Mich. aphereä’s mantra is “the art of creating atmosphere,” and the company’s design philosophy is to embrace each project individually, providing fresh and innovative design solutions and creative concepts for all project types, regardless of the project size or budget. Hobbs’ view of design is based on a lifestyle approach - how her clients wish to feel and live within their home, office or environment.

  • Friday admission coupon available in The Forum Sunday, Feb. 21, at all Hornbacher’s stores or at www.hbafm.com Feb. 22. Regular admission is $8. The show coupon will be $1 off and will be good for any of the three days.

    • Charge for playground--$3 per hour for the first child and $2 for each additional child within the same family. Children must be between the ages of 3-10 and potty trained.
